Period and symptom tracker — free, private, takes 3 minutes
You've been told it's normal. You're not sure it is. The day you plan around. The painkiller you take without thinking. The mood that arrives before you've worked out why. Most women carry this quietly for years, because there's never a moment where it's obviously "bad enough" to mention — and because by the time you're in the appointment, you can't remember the details. Take three private minutes to put it into words.

What is a period and symptom check?
A period and symptom check is a short, structured set of questions about your recent cycles — how predictable the timing has been, what the flow and pain are like, which other symptoms show up, and how much all of it affects your mood, energy and daily life. It turns a vague sense that "something is off" into something specific you can describe. It is not a diagnosis of any condition and does not replace assessment by a qualified professional.
Frequently asked questions
Can this tell me whether my periods are normal?
"Normal" covers a wide range, and it differs from person to person — so no tool can settle that for you. What this check does is organize what you actually experience: timing, flow, pain, symptoms, mood, energy and how much it interferes with your life. If several of those are disruptive, that is worth discussing with a qualified professional, whatever the average looks like.
Can it diagnose endometriosis, fibroids or PCOS?
No. It cannot diagnose or exclude endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS/PCOD, thyroid conditions or anything else. Heavy, painful or irregular periods have many possible explanations, and telling them apart needs history, examination and sometimes testing — all interpreted by a qualified professional.
Why does the check ask about mood and energy?
Because cycles rarely stay in one part of your life. Mood shifts, tiredness and the days you cut back on work or plans are often the part that matters most to you — and the part most likely to be forgotten in a short appointment. Recording them makes the picture you bring to a doctor much more complete.
What if I cannot remember my recent cycles clearly?
Most people cannot, and that is exactly the problem this is meant to solve. Answer with your best sense of the last few months, then start keeping a record from today. A few tracked cycles will tell you and a clinician far more than any single recollection.
When should I not wait for a check like this?
If you are bleeding heavily enough to soak through a pad or tampon every hour or two, feeling faint or passing out, or have sudden severe pelvic pain, please seek prompt medical attention rather than finishing a quiz. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Are my answers private?
Yes. Your answers produce a result for you. Answers about your cycle, pain, mood and body are never sold, sent to advertisers or used to build a marketing profile. Keeping an ongoing record is optional and happens in the Nily app.
