Nily vs Sugarfit: an honest comparison before you spend on a programme

These are two genuinely different products, and pretending otherwise would not help you. Sugarfit sells an intensive, paid diabetes and metabolic programme. Nily gives you a free way to understand where you stand, and doctor-led services you pay for only when you choose one. Which is right depends on where you are — diagnosed and ready to commit, or still working out what is going on.

Positioning and published pricing described as of July 2026. Sugarfit changes its plans; check their current pages before deciding.

What Sugarfit is

As of July 2026, Sugarfit’s own pages describe a doctor-led, clinically designed programme for diabetes care and obesity management, built around a continuous glucose monitor, expert coaching, doctor consultations and personalised nutrition planning. Its published pricing at that date: a 12-month plan at ₹29,990 including four doctor consultations, three diagnostic tests and a CGM, and a 4-month plan at ₹15,990 including two doctor consultations, one diagnostic test and a CGM, with no-cost EMI offered on both. Sugarfit’s marketing uses the phrase “diabetes reversal”, which its pages define as reaching an HbA1c below 6.5.

That is their published positioning, stated plainly. Whether an intensive programme is what you need is a separate question — and the honest answer is sometimes yes.

What Nily is

Not a diabetes programme. A place to start, and a route to a doctor.

Understand first, free

22 free checkers with no account and no card. If you are worried about your sugar, your weight or your energy, you can get an honest orientation today without spending a rupee.

Pay per service, not per programme

A consultation when you want one. A lab test when it makes sense. A program if you choose it. Each priced individually and shown before you pay — no annual fee, no enrolment call.

Careful words, by policy

We never say “reverse” or “cure”, because no honest product can promise a clinical outcome. Every result is an orientation, not a diagnosis, and your health answers are never sold or sent to ad platforms.

When Sugarfit suits you better

If you have diagnosed type 2 diabetes and you want an intensive, structured programme — continuous glucose monitoring, a coach checking in, scheduled doctor consultations, diagnostics bundled in — then a dedicated programme like Sugarfit’s is the category built for exactly that, and Nily is not. If you already know commitment is your weak point and a paid programme keeps you accountable, that is also a legitimate reason to choose one.

We would rather you pick Sugarfit and manage your diabetes well than pick us and drift. Whatever you choose, keep your treating doctor in the loop and never change medication on the strength of an app.

Whatever you pick, do not wait

The ICMR-INDIAB study, published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology in 2023, estimated that 101 million people in India were living with diabetes and 136 million with prediabetes. Prediabetes in particular progresses silently — it usually has no symptoms at all — and the earlier lifestyle change starts, the smaller and easier the change needs to be. The real cost of a long comparison shop is not choosing the wrong product; it is another six months of not knowing which group you are in.

A free check answers that first question in minutes, and it costs nothing to ask.

Frequently asked questions

Is Nily really free?

Yes. The app and all 22 health checkers are free, with no account and no card required. If you later choose a paid service — a consultation, a lab test or a program — its price is shown before you buy. Nily has no subscription.

Can I use both Nily and Sugarfit?

Yes. If you are enrolled in a Sugarfit programme, Nily’s free checkers and tracking do not interfere with it. Some people use Nily to understand a concern before deciding whether an intensive paid programme is the right next step at all.

Does Nily offer a diabetes reversal programme?

No, and we do not use the word “reversal” anywhere. Sustained lifestyle change can meaningfully improve metabolic health for many people, but results vary and no app can promise a clinical outcome. If you have diagnosed diabetes, manage it with your doctor and never stop prescribed medicine on the strength of an app.

Does Nily include a CGM?

No. Continuous glucose monitoring is part of what intensive diabetes programmes like Sugarfit’s are built around. Nily starts earlier: free assessments, tracking over time, and a route to a qualified doctor when one is genuinely needed.

Do you sell my health data?

No. Health answers are never sold, never sent to advertising platforms, remarketing systems or data brokers, and never shared with an employer or insurer. We do not build advertising audiences out of health conditions.
