Check in with mood, energy, sleep, stress, symptoms and physical wellbeing in a few moments

A day can feel "fine" until you try to remember what changed. A short daily health check-in helps capture the signals that are easiest to lose—without requiring a full medical history or a perfect tracking routine.

Nily gives you a private, repeatable view of six everyday areas. Over time, selected check-ins can support your personal timeline, CHI context, program review and better-prepared conversations with an appropriate professional.

Your check-in is self-reported, optional and non-diagnostic. Nily does not continuously monitor entries or guarantee a response.

Nily does not monitor your check-in in real time. For immediate danger, severe symptoms or another possible emergency in India, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you may harm yourself or cannot stay safe, use direct urgent support and do not wait for a score, app response or email. For immediate mental-health support in India, call Tele-MANAS at 14416.

What is a daily health check-in?

A daily health tracker can be as brief as a wellbeing check-in for mood, energy, sleep, stress and selected symptoms. It is a short self-report of how today feels—not a medical test, continuous monitor or validated screener. Over time, private check-ins build context you can review, share appropriately and use to prepare better questions for a qualified professional.

Six areas for a brief daily view

Each area is skippable. The live experience explains the response scale in plain language and does not preselect the 'best' answer.

Mood

Record how your mood feels today without turning one entry into a mental-health diagnosis or identity. Relevant urgent responses bypass ordinary engagement flows.

Energy

Notice current energy in your own context. Energy can change for many reasons, and the check-in cannot determine a cause.

Sleep

Reflect on how sleep felt and how it affects the day. A daily response is not a sleep study and cannot diagnose a sleep disorder.

Stress

Record your perceived stress without implying that every structural, financial, caregiving, workplace or safety problem can be solved through self-care.

Symptoms

Note whether selected symptoms are affecting the day. Symptom tracking supports recall; it does not establish severity, diagnosis or medical safety on its own.

Physical wellbeing

Capture an overall self-reported sense of physical wellbeing without using it as medical clearance or proof that nothing is wrong.

How the daily health check-in works

Step 1

Open today's private check-in

Use the authenticated Nily experience so health entries are not submitted through a public marketing form. The date, local time and privacy state are shown clearly.

Step 2

Answer only what is useful today

Move through mood, energy, sleep, stress, symptoms and physical wellbeing. Skip any item without losing the ability to save other responses.

Step 3

Add optional context

Choose controlled context tags or a private note only when useful. Free text stays outside general analytics, advertising and ordinary session replay.

Step 4

Review before saving

See all selected responses, skipped items and how the entry may contribute to Nily tracking or CHI. Edits remain possible before confirmation.

Step 5

See a neutral daily summary

Your entries are reflected back without diagnosis, false reassurance or dramatic warnings. Safety actions stay separate from ordinary insight copy.

Step 6

Review change over time

Compare selected entries with previous days and relevant trackers. Correlation does not prove cause, and more data is not automatically better data. Explore Personalized Health Tracking

A daily check-in is not a screening test

A validated screener uses defined questions, response options, time period and scoring for a specific purpose. The Nily daily check-in is a brief personal reflection across today's selected areas.

Daily mood or stress entries are not converted into PHQ-9, GAD-7 or another validated score. If a focused screener is appropriate, it is presented separately with its own consent, wording, limitations and safety logic.

Missing a day is information—not failure

Illness, travel, caregiving, stress, disability, access and ordinary life affect tracking. Nily does not erase progress, use streak loss, send shame-based messages or describe a person as non-compliant because an entry is missing.

Reminder frequency, quiet hours and notification content are user-controlled. Dismissing a reminder does not mean the person completed or refused the check-in.

Your check-in can contribute to CHI only under clear rules

The live review states whether selected check-in data contributes to the Nily Composite Health Index, which approved input version applies and what happens when entries are skipped or missing. A single check-in does not create a dramatic score swing without a transparent explanation.

Safety actions operate independently of CHI. A reassuring composite score never overrides a concerning symptom, explicit safety response or urgent change.

Learn How the Nily CHI Works

Programs can use check-ins without taking ownership of your data

When you join a relevant Nily program, selected check-in trends may help you review routines and prepare for follow-up. The program states which roles can access which data and whether sharing is necessary or optional.

Safety must interrupt the ordinary check-in

If a response indicates immediate danger, possible self-harm, inability to stay safe, severe or rapidly worsening symptoms or another acute concern, ordinary summaries, CHI prompts, streaks, paywalls and product upsells stop. Direct urgent actions are shown without requiring profile completion, payment or marketing consent.

For immediate danger or a possible emergency in India, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department. For immediate mental-health support, call Tele-MANAS at 14416.

Nily does not claim that a safety response has been read by a person unless an approved staffed workflow actually confirms it.

Daily health entries are sensitive

Mood, stress, symptoms, sleep, energy, physical wellbeing, context tags and private notes can reveal health and life circumstances. Nily does not use them for advertising audiences, sales scoring, insurer or employer decisions, session replay or generalized behavioural profiling.

Storage, access, retention, export, correction, deletion, CHI use and program sharing are explained before you begin.

Frequently asked questions

What is a daily health check-in?

It is a brief self-report of how selected areas feel today. It helps create context over time but is not a medical test or diagnosis.

What does the Nily check-in ask about?

The current documented wellness check-in questions cover six areas: mood, energy, sleep, stress, symptoms and physical wellbeing. Each response is optional.

How long does the check-in take?

It is designed to be brief, but Nily does not publish a guaranteed completion time. You can skip optional items and return later.

Do I have to check in every day?

No. Use it when it remains useful. Missing a day must not erase progress, break a punitive streak or trigger shame.

Is the daily check-in a medical assessment?

No. It cannot diagnose, rule out illness or establish that an activity, medicine or symptom is safe.

Is it the same as a mental-health screener?

No. A validated screener has standardized questions, scoring and a defined purpose. The daily check-in is a general reflection.

Does my check-in affect my CHI score?

Selected approved inputs may contribute under the current CHI method. The app shows contribution, missing-data and version information rather than implying every answer changes the score equally.

Can I edit a check-in?

The live product allows governed correction while preserving when an entry changed. It does not rewrite history silently.

Can a doctor see my check-ins?

Only through an explicit service and authorized sharing flow. A professional does not receive unrestricted access merely because you booked a consultation.

What happens if an answer suggests I need urgent help?

The ordinary flow stops and shows direct urgent actions. Nily does not guarantee that a person is monitoring or will contact you.

Will check-in data be used for advertising?

It must not be. Answers, notes, symptoms, inferred states and safety responses remain outside advertising and general marketing analytics.

Can I use the check-in during a health program?

Yes, where relevant. The program explains which entries are used, for what purpose and who can access them.

Can I export my check-in history?

Where available, Nily provides a readable date-bounded export with clear provenance and without presenting it as a clinical diagnosis.

How can I contact Nily?
