Looking for a HealthifyMe alternative? Here is how Nily is different — and when it is not the answer
You searched for an alternative, so something about the subscription model is not working for you. Maybe the price. Maybe the daily logging. Maybe you just want to understand your health before committing to a plan. This page compares the two honestly, because the wrong pick wastes your money and our credibility.
Positioning and published plan structure described as of July 2026. HealthifyMe changes its plans and prices; check their current pages before deciding.
What HealthifyMe is
HealthifyMe is one of India’s best-known subscription coaching apps. As of July 2026, its published plan tiers are the Smart Plan — which HealthifyMe describes as AI-generated diet plans built without a coach — and 1 Coach and 2 Coach plans that add human coaching on top. The product is built around calorie tracking, a large Indian food database, and day-to-day guidance under a paid plan. Current prices are listed on HealthifyMe’s own store and vary by tier, duration and promotion, so we will not pin a number here that could be stale by the time you read it.
None of that is a criticism. A paid coaching subscription is a coherent product for a specific job: daily accountability from a human being.
What Nily is
A different category, not a cheaper version of the same thing.
Free before anything else
Doctor-led when it matters
Private by design
Side by side
| What you are comparing | HealthifyMe | Nily |
|---|---|---|
| Cost model | Paid subscription plans (Smart, 1 Coach, 2 Coach tiers as of July 2026); prices on their store | App free forever. Pay only for a specific consultation, test or program you choose |
| What is free before paying | A free app tier exists; check their current pages for what it includes | 22 checkers, no account, no card. Your result is yours |
| Built around | Calorie tracking, food logging and coaching under a paid plan | Understanding first: free assessments, tracking over time, a route to a doctor when needed |
| Clinical language | See their current pages for how outcomes are described | We do not use “reverse” or “cure”. Improvement is possible; a guarantee is not honest |
| Your health data | Check their privacy policy | Never sold, never sent to ad platforms, never used to build health-based ad audiences |
When HealthifyMe suits you better
Choose HealthifyMe if daily accountability is the thing you need. A coach who reviews your food log, nudges you when you drift, and adjusts your plan every week is a real service, and Nily deliberately does not offer it. The same goes if calorie counting itself keeps you on track — HealthifyMe’s food database and tracking tools are the core of their product, and they are not the core of ours.
A person who picks the wrong product and gives up on their health is a worse outcome for everyone than a person who picks HealthifyMe and sticks with it.
The cost of deciding later
Whichever product you choose, choose soon. Metabolic problems rarely announce themselves; they drift for years while everything still feels normal, and lifestyle change started early is simply easier than lifestyle change started late — smaller adjustments, better odds, less to undo. The expensive decision is not picking the wrong app. It is spending another year not knowing where you stand.
A free checker takes a few minutes and asks nothing of you. That is a reasonable first step whatever you decide afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Is Nily really free?
Yes. The app is free and all 22 health checkers are free, with no account and no card. You pay only if you choose a specific service — a consultation, a lab test or a program — and its price is shown before you commit. There is no subscription to use Nily.
Can I use both Nily and HealthifyMe?
Yes. Nothing in Nily conflicts with a coaching subscription. Some people keep their coaching plan for daily food and activity guidance and use Nily’s free checkers to understand a specific concern privately. The two products do different jobs.
Does Nily track calories or assign me a coach?
No. Nily is not a calorie-tracking or coaching product. It gives you free assessments, longitudinal tracking, and a route to a qualified professional when one is actually needed. If daily food logging with a coach is what you want, that is exactly what coaching apps are built for.
Do you sell my health data?
No. Health answers are never sold, never sent to advertising platforms, remarketing systems or data brokers, and never shared with an employer or insurer. We do not build advertising audiences out of health conditions.
Can Nily diagnose me?
No. Nily is wellness plus doctor-led services. Every checker produces an orientation, not a diagnosis, and no result confirms or excludes any condition. Only an appropriately qualified professional can assess you individually.
